Pe Hon spent 13 years with the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), serving as a fighter pilot and intelligence officer. During this period, he was deployed on Operations INHERENT RESOLVE, gaining firsthand experience in high-stakes military operations.
After leaving the military, Pe Hon transitioned to commercial aviation. He now flies the Airbus A320 as a Training Captain with Scoot, based in Singapore.
Pe Hon currently serves as President of the Scoot Staff Union (STSU), representing employees across the airline's Ground, Cabin Crew, and Flight Crew branches. He advocates for workers' rights, better working conditions, and fair compensation across all departments.
Pe Hon has always had a builder's mindset. Beyond his tech ventures and startup CTO role, he remains actively involved in the business world as a stakeholder in Grof.co and Fresher.com.sg. He is especially drawn to the potential of AI agents, building personal automation systems that help him manage everything from flight operations and union administration to daily life logistics. For Pe Hon, technology is at its best when it quietly handles the busywork so people can focus on what matters.
While still serving in the SAF, Pe Hon taught himself to code. What started as a curiosity quickly turned into a series of ventures. He launched and successfully sold several tech businesses, and went on to serve as Chief Technology Officer of a funded startup, leading product development and engineering.
His technical toolkit spans Swift, Solidity, Javascript, PHP, Python, and R, with hands-on experience in Ethereum smart contracts, iOS development, web platforms, and API integrations.
Outside the cockpit and the boardroom, Pe Hon is an avid runner and a keen explorer of emerging technology, from blockchain to AI.
